Shahrukh, Dilip Kumar visit Yash Chopra in hospital



Ace filmmaker Yash Chopra who passed today at suburban hospital will be cremated tomorrow in the evening. His body will be placed at Yash Raj studio and people can pay their last respect to the legendary filmmaker. He was 80.

Yash Chopra died due to dengue and multiple organ failure. He was admitted to Lilavati hospital few days back where the doctors detected dengue. He was at first admitted to the ICU but later when he responded to medicines and showed sign of recovery, he was shifted out of ICU.
"He passed away due to dengue and multiple organ failure today evening. He was in the ICU," Lilavati Hospital spokesperson Dr Sudhir said.

When the news of his departure broke out, a string of celebrities like Shahrukh Khan, Dilip Kumar and his wife Saira Banu, Anil Kapoor, Poonam Dhillonvisited the hospital to pay their last respect to the legendary director. Shahrukh was the first to arrive with his son Aryan.

Chopra will be cremated tomorrow at 3 PM at Chandanwadi crematorium in south Mumbai.
"From 9 AM to 12 noon people can come in at the Yash Raj Films studio in suburban Andheri to pay their condolences. He (Chopra) will be cremated at 3 PM at Chandan Wadi," YRF spokesperson said.
