Sanjay Dutt to play Sher Khan in ‘Zanjeer’ remake



Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will play the role of Sher Khan which was portrayed by Pran in ‘Zanjeer’ remake. Director Apoorva Lakhia will remake the blockbuster movie of 80. At first, Sanjay opted out of the movie and he was replaced by Arjun Rampal.
Apoorva is happy that Sanjay is back on the board. Sonu Sood will doing the film in Telugu. Lakhia says, “I am so blessed that Sanju sir will be playing the role of Sher Khan while Sonu, who has a huge market and is a big star down South, will be doing it in Telugu. Ramcharan Teja is playing Amitabh Bachchan’s role in both the films.”
The role of Amitabh Bachchan will be essayed by Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja and Ram is also happy that Sanjay will be a part of the film as both are gym buddies. Lakhia says, “Earlier Sanju sir had some date issues. We approached him with the script again and he suggested some changes that we made. Dutt’s manager and his team managed to work out the dates for us this time. We start shooting next month.”
This would be Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut and he is looking forward to the movie with high anticipation. He will be starred opposite Priyanka Chopra.
Sanjay Dutt will be seen in 'Son Of Sardar' with Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha next.
