Many Bollywood celebrities arrived at Yash Raj studio to pay their last respect to ‘The ‘King Of Romance’ Yash Chopra. He passed away on Saturday due to dengue and multiple organ failure. He was 80.
When the news of his death was declared, many Bollywood celebrities went to Lilavati hospital to pay their last respect to the legendary filmmaker. Shahrukh Khan was the first to visit Yash Chopra with his son Aryan. Dilip Kumar came with his wife Saira Banu. Poonam Dhillon and Anil Kapoor was also spotted outside the hospital.
Today, he will be cremated at 3 pm at Chandan Wadi and his body has been kept at Yash Raj studio for the last tribute.
Many well-known celebrities arrived at the Yash Raj studio to pay their last tribute to the departed soul. Amitabh Bachchan who worked with Yash Chopra in blockbusters like Deewar, Kabhi Kabhie and Silsila came to pay his last respect with daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Shahrukh Khan who worked with Yash Chopra in ‘Dil Toha Pagal Hai’ ‘Darr’, ‘Veer-Zaara, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (yet to release) also seen at the Yash Raj studio.
Salman Khan who worked with Yash Raj banner films ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ also arrived to pay his last respect. Anil Kapoor who worked with Yash Chopra in films like Mashaal, Vijay and Lamhe also arrived to pay his last respect. Priyanka Chopra also came to pay their last tribute. She starred in YRF ‘Pyaar Impossible’. Actor Sanjay Dutt, Rinki Khanna, Honey Irani, Dimple Kapadia, Urmila Matondkar, Manish Malhotra, Jimmy Shergill, Ramesh Sippy, Kiran Sippy visited Yash Raj studio. John Abraham who worked with YRF in Dhoom and New York also arrived.
Hiroo Johar, Madhur Bhndarkar, director Kunal Kohli also arrived. Lyricist Prasoon Joshi arrives at YRF studios. Nikhil Advani also came along with Zoya Akhtar.
