The veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra has been keeping ill health for the past few days. Chopra was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for the past 5 days. He was down with Dengu but he has responded well to the medical treatment and is making fast recovery. A source from the hospital told, "He is still in hospital. He is much better now and has improved quite well. He shall be discharged soon." These words bring relief to the Bollywood fraternity which was anxious on account of the ill health of Yash Chopra.
An erratic weather with the recent heavy rains has suddenly raised the cases of Dengu in the Mumbai city and its suburbs. Though the severity of the disease was less in most of the cases, a few of them needed urgent medical attention. The attack of Dengu was severe in case of Yash Chopra and he had to be admitted in the ICU at that time. However, the people of Mumbai can take a sigh of relief as the cases of Dengu are now in decline. Past year also 416 cases of Dengu were recorded by the civic body of the city. This is high time that some action was taken to prevent the repeated emergence of this disease.
The eighty year old director was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. Prior to this he was busy working on his last directorial venture 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. His earlier memorable movies are 'Kabhie Kabhie', 'Daag', 'Silsila', 'Lamhe', 'Chandni', 'Trishul' and 'Deewar'. He has already announced that his last film has turned out to be his best creation ever and just as the sweet dessert, it too is getting served as his last dish rightfully. The film belongs to the romantic genre and stars Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
The music director for the film is ace Maestro A.R.Rahman. He has created magic with the music for the film and the songs are already getting popular among the masses. The shooting for the last song of the film is still to be done as Yash Chopra couldn’t complete it due to illness. The shooting will start as soon as he regains health and joins back to work. In the meanwhile the release date of the movie remains unaltered and is on 13th November 2012.
We wish Yash Chopra to get well soon and may his last film become a big box office grosser.
