Kareena refuses to sign pregnancy clause, lost 'Ram Leela'

It seems Sanjay Leela Bhansalihas learn a lesson from his contemporaries Madhur Bhandarkar. Madhur at first signed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for ‘Heroine’ but when her pregnancy issue came into limelight; she was dropped from the film. The result was that his highly anticipated film ‘Heroine’ was about to shelved if Kareena didn't come to his rescue. Sanjay Leela Bhansali does not want the same thing to happen with his film, ‘Ram Leela’. Before the film go on board, he wants Bebo to sign the no pregnancy clause but Kareena refused.

Kareena and Saif’s marriage is speculated to take place on October 16^th and to play safe Sanjay asked Kareena to sign the pregnancy clause but she denied. Filmmaking these days comes with lots of terms and conditions and an actors has to be accept all the condition to grab a project.
Talking to a leading daily, a source said, “The bone of contention between Bebo and Bhansali wasn`t the money; as is being speculated in the media. It is reportedly the pregnancy clause that Bebo refused to sign.”

Sanjay at first refused to cast Kareena due to her marital status and now when Kareena pushed back her marriage due to the film, the pregnancy issue cropped up.
