Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan will be seen romancing beautiful Katrina Kaif in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film, ‘Knight and Day’ starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in the lead role. This Hollywood movie was directed by James Mangold down West and the film had received mixed response there.
Now, Fox Star Studios has decided to get the official rights to remake the film in Hindi. The Bollywood version will have altogether new twists and turns and very much different storyline than the Hollywood.
“We are making that film in Hindi. I can't talk much about the project as it is too early,” Vivek Krishnani, Fox Star Studios, Head of Distribution -- marketing and syndication, said.
Hrithik who is working on his home production ‘Krrish 3’ will step into the role of Tom Cruise and Katrina will play the role of Cameron Diaz. “We have signed Hrithik and Katrina for the Hindi remake of the film,” Krishnani said.
Hrithik and Katrina starred together in Zoya Akhar’s movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and the movie won huge accolades and awards. “The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and will go on floors next year,” he said.
Siddharth Anand directed 'Anjaana Anjaani' released in 2010 starring Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor.
A source close to the project told the media, “The film is scheduled to go on floors early next year,” and Hrithik is set to start shooting for the film after he wraps up Krrish 3.
