After hitting the rough patch, married couple Konkana Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey has decided to legally call of their relationship. According to an insider, Konkana has filed for divorce as she is not ready to carry the burden of a devastated marriage over her shoulder any longer.
"Irreconcilable differences" has been the reason of their break-up. In May this year, the news of their disrupt marriage blew up and over these days, things turned worsen beyond repairable to lead a happy married life together. The news of their disturbed marriage surfaced when both attended an event separately and sat at a distance. When asked then Konkana maintained a silence while Ranveer replied, "We are not conjoined twins!" Four months passed but there has been no major development in their marriage. Things took a worse turn and now the couple headed for splitville.
Married for last two years, Konkona and Ranveer are parents of a baby boy. The actress was heard telling her friends about their troubled marriage. "Konkona has even told a few of her close friends that she wants to file for divorce. She has told them that she has tried her best to reconcile with Ranveer but things don't seem to be working out between them, and she is not to take it beyond a certain limit. Seems, the two are as different as chalk and cheese, and you get to know these things only after you start living under the same roof."
Ranveer and Konkana are determined to end their relationship legally and move separately.
"Ranveer is not an easy guy to live with. And Konkona tried her best to make the relationship work," says a friend, adding, "In fact, she has still not given up hope completely”, informs Konkana's friend.
