Legendary actor Shashi Kapoor's family dismisses his unwell report saying that he is fine and fans are spreading false report about his health. On Saturday, there has been quite abuzz on twitter about his bad health. Shashi Kapoor’s 'official' page on social networking website, Facebook, stated: He is weak, please pray for him.
After the news spread far and wide, Shashi Kapoor's nephew Aditya Raj Kapoor called up Shashi Kapoor’s son and get to know that he is fine and the report was totally wrong. He said, "I have just spoken to his son. Shashiji is fine. He does not have a Facebook page. It is a fan page spreading rumours. Facebook should shut it down." Sashi Kapoor has been suffering from age-related ailments.
On 20 July 2012, Shashi Kapoor underwent a cataract surgery at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Shashi Kapoor confirmed to wheel chair due to age related disease. He has wooed many hearts in the 60's and 70's with his charming on-screen presence. He was recently seen in Amitabh Bachchan’s 70’s birthday, Yash Chopra’s funeral and in few events.
He was seen greeting and shaking hands industrywallas including newly weds Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan at the celebration fest with the ardent Prithviwallahs and famous theatre personalities.
Pran, Bollywood's bad man, has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital due to weakness. The 92-year-old actor's wife Shukla told TOI, "He was admitted about four days ago after he complained of weakness.''
