SRK opens up on his issues with Salman

Fights between two actresses are common in the film industry, but actors too are not far behind. The Khan war started in the year 2008 at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party where both the Khans had a clash of words.
Since then the two have never crossed paths and stayed put on unfriendly terms. The only time when the two were seen at the same platform happened recently at the premiere of “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”. The two were cordial and this sparked off rumors that the two have patched up. To this Shah Rukh Khan stated that if it ever happens, it will never be public.
Shah Rukh Khan said at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit (2012) "We have had a little bit of personal issue. This is not the first time; it is about four years ago. We were very close for 20 years... We have certain things that are similar and there are certain things which we disagree on. So at this point of time we are on that plane of disagreement."
When Katrina Kaif was quizzed about the comparisons between the two she cleverly evaded answering it and said that she would love to see the both work together in a film, possibly produced by her.
Shah Rukh Khan was heard joking about this statement and was said to have claimed that he would do the film only for Katrina. However, when SRK was asked directly he said "There may come a time when these things get resolved but it will never be on a public platform. It will be a personal thing. It is a serious matter and it cannot be resolved by working in a film together or if someone asks us to try and resolve the matter. None else can resolve it for us; only we can do it...It will take time. It may happen someday."
What acted as a catalyst and got the speculations rife was SRK’s tweet that read “"...Had a lovely time dancing partying with all...Amit uncle, Salman, Aamir (sic)."
The latest SRK release was “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”, which turned up on the silver screen on the 13th of November. The film stars SRK, Anushka Sharma and Katrina. The actor spoke about his long career in the industry at length and described it as fulfilling. He was quoted as saying- “I don't think I am talented at all. There was a time when I was young and I used to think that I was very talented, a great actor but not anymore. I am very humbled for what I have and even if all the fame, the money is taken away from me, I will still have more than what I had when I came to Mumbai in 1990.”
